2011 Thompson Golf Classic ~ Islington Golf Club

The 2011 Thompson Golf Classic will be held on Monday September 19  2011 at Islington Golf Club in Toronto Ontario. Islington Golf Course was an early assignment for Stanley Thompson (1923) and although there has been minor alteration in the hole sequence over the years, the course plays close to its original design.  Regardless of their level of play, golfers find the course challenging yet playable. Play at the start of the course starts is deceivingly comfortable but is soon replaced with challenging holes requiring greater shot variations.

Tournament fees $225; for Islington members, $165.
