- Learn more about the career of one of the world’s pre-eminent golf course architects – Stanley Thompson, a native Canadian.
- Recognition as a Thompson course will help attract new members. Member clubs can be provided with material for their publications.
- Access to Technical Guides prepared by the Society to assist member clubs in restoring and preserving his design features.
- Receipt of a quarterly newsletter providing technical and informative articles; and in each issue a member club is highlighted.
- Designated golfers from member clubs, and individual members, can play in the annual tournament at a well-known Thompson course.
- Advice and news about celebrating various club milestones in the form of historical information; assistance in the preparation of plaques and promotional material.
- Interaction with other members; and assistance in answering questions about Stanley Thompson courses and his life.
Select the type of membership you would desire from the list below:
- Club: open to clubs everywhere whose courses were designed, remodeled, or constructed, in whole or in part, by Stanley Thompson, or one of his companies; annual fee is $340.
- Corporate: open to all businesses and organizations that would like to support the aims of the Society; annual fee is $275.
- Friend: individuals who would like to support the Society; annual fee is $75. There are approximately 120 members from all regions of Canada, and parts of the United States.
- Student: A person registered in a Canadian School with a curriculum relating to the golf industry $25.
