Society Names Artist of Record
The first of the Thompson Heritage art series, Whirlpool GC, 18th Hole, was unveiled by artist Michele Clarkson at the 2008 Thompson Classic commemorating the Society's tenth anniversary. The Society initiative is to create a series of reproducible paintings to be known as the Thompson Heritage Collection. The Collection will feature art images of Thompson's courses, focusing on many of his classic designs.
Clarkson, a talented artist working out of Collingwood, is well-known for her attention to detail and nature landscapes.
